Because they charge for dungeons which are in expansions you paid for and you have to pay for the seasons on top of that. And the amount you pay is not a small amount. Compare the amount of content in a FFXIV dlc which is priced at $40 to a $100 annual pass. You’ll see why people are mad.
This is coming from someone who’s played since D1 beta. I’ve tried getting new players into this game, but the pay walls made them all uninstall.
“We do not want to overdeliver” is not something you want to hear from a company.

We’d appreciate some new god damn maps. It’s crazy that In 2024 we have less crucible, and gambit maps than we did in 2019. Yea yea I know they got a map pack coming out it doesn’t change the fact that they left us hanging for like four years, and I bet they don’t drop anymore crucible maps after the map pack.
