It's amazing how many people I know that behave more like Christ's teachings that the Christians I know do.

I’m a Roman Catholic from an old school Italian family and my wife is also like me from an old school Roman Catholic family both Italian when we go to church and leave I feel so good but the mass I feel is at times depressing it’s like we aren’t there celebrating Jesus we are their mourning our faith and the reason I probably feel good when I’m leaving is that 1 it’s ended 2 I feel like I came like I’m suppose to but I don’t wanna complain and feel like it’s a job I wanna feel excited to go I love Jesus I love my faith I just don’t feel the ceremony gets me excited I want to celebrate and feel the love instead church for me is stand up sit down stand up kneel down tecieve the body of Christ give a lil money shake hands with people sitting near me and run out when I hear you may go in peace I love all man I love Jesus I love god I love my faith I wish my church would change just get some life into the mass it’s the same ancient mass as 2000 years ago

You have to fear God too. And i think to truly be in wonder of it you have to fear it some too. Its God and ppl want to think hes just all loving. And i am a sinner i am definitely within my own journey so my understanding is different and i respect others veiw too.

I escaped religion 2 1/2 years ago. I now know why religion always bit me my entire life here. No matter the denomination. I now know that the last church I attended for 7 years was for my frequency to shake the foundations of that little country church on the country corner. I have a few close friends that totally agree with that. It wasn't easy to leave. The lady I worked for in her home attended the same church. We had started up a Bible study in her home that we'd been hosting for 2+years. But I had to be true to myself and my spirit. I had quit preaching prior to my leave and that's when everything shifted extremely for me. Looking back, I do believe I faced demons while there.

But most Christians haven't yet discovered "The Path or Way" that Jesus came down to earth. "Christians shoukd embody "Christ Conciousness, but dont even understand it yet. One thing about regular churches and orthodoxy stood out to me. I had been to baptist, catholic, protestant, etc etc. Something was always missing. When i went to an orthodox church for the first time and asked why there services were different along with the music (chanting) and the iconostasis. The priest told me: Church should be pleasing to God, not pleasing to us. That really hit home with me.
