You will be forgotten.

“They are the most powerful people in their industry. Their house is like a palace. They host royalty and are treated like it. Heads of state welcome them. They travel private, dine with aristocrats, and throw the most lavish parties at their famous estate.”

This isn’t about anyone alive today.

It’s from a book published in 1960—describing Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, the biggest stars of the 1920s.

Some of you might know those names. Most don’t. And every day, fewer do.

Bummer right? Stay with me. I promise I'm not saying this to bum you out on a random Tuesday afternoon, instead to free you.

If the most famous people in the world are already fading from memory, what chance do you or I have? Not much — and that’s the point.

I see sooo many talented people paralyzed in fear.
Some of them recognize it. Most of them don't.

They think that by "doing more research" or "waiting for the perfect time" they are making progress.

They aren't.

If you recognize this as you, this is my tough love.

STOP LETTING FEAR STOP YOU!!!

Seriously. Stop. Stop waiting. Stop over-researching. Stop hiding behind "perfect timing".

If you don't know how, reach out. I'm happy to be a cheerleader, a sounding board whatever it is. Just please for the love of God, start.

Fear doesn’t keep you safe. It keeps you stuck.
