I do love this moment, and it's very Brennan to not take any credit. It was actually him as an NPC that threw out the idea "we have some sponsorship slots left". Definitely credit for Sam for what he did with it, but I see it as a wonderful example of the fantastic yes and those two had in this series

I don't think I've ever experienced such emotional whiplash quite like I did in that moment of Calamity. I went from just incredible sadness listening to Sam's excellently delivered speech to cackling with laughter at the sponsor slot. It was as Brennan said, a perfect joke. It somehow added just the right amount of levity to counter the sadness of it all. The timing was great, the delivery was perfect. Just A+ roleplaying.

Brennan's analysis of this moment is so perfect. I would never have been able to say it like he said but it really sums up perfectly how this moment felt
