Also the penguin is so much more grounded. He’s a grounded villain with no super powers. No universe to destroy or save.
Marvel is expanding their universe but it can get a cliche to get doing giant space battles that change everything. The multi verse saga hasn’t been handled well.
This is so much more hard hitting because it’s relatable.

I didn't know when the episodes dropped, I just came home every friday and sat down and enjoyed a new episode and it was the best feeling ever when I had just watched episode 7 on friday and having the day off on monday and going into max just to see the season finale already there 👌

How is that so many people don't understand that the MCU went through this phase before with the first phase? More than half the movies in phase one were kind of hit or miss. They need time to figure out what direction to go in for the next three phases, and there's going to be trial and error period with that. This is kind of why I hate that social media has a comment section. Because I've noticed that most of the people with these takes are all the same age group: People who were too young to remember that the first phase of the MCU was held up by the iron Man movies and avengers. The other movies were not that great in a box office.

The MARVEL shows feel lifeless, they feel like things just happening in a way, it looks too clean and corporate. The Penguin is a narrative, it doesn't feel the need to lecture regular people on their own struggles while being made by people with little to no struggles, it feels like an actual show, with plot and movement. That's why every MARVEL episode feels like a 10 minute snippet and each Penguin episode feels like a movie.

Bruh, Wanda vision was pretty hard to wait for the next episode. It was honestly such a mystery that became more intriguing as it went on. The first two episodes were sort of humdrum and it seemed like a sort of silly light and quirky show... Then it really started showing the cracks at the seams of its reality. Loved it.
