I think the saddest thing with Monster Six is that when you first enter the room and call out to her, not only does she walk forward after recognizing you, but she pushes her music box forward. She still trusts Mono and wants to share her comfort with him. He just wants to save her, and Six just wants to stay in her safe space. The way she screams in pain as her sanctuary crumbles around her breaks my heart every time. Even the fact that she turns around to catch Mono in the first place might hint that it was a genuinely hard decision to let to of a person who she now thought had betrayed her. These poor kids deserved a chance to explain themselves, but their world is not so forgiving. Six has learned that and taken that trait for herself.

The music box gave her comfort and the signal tower distorts time so she couldve been there for any amount of time even like 20 years so in her eyes mono already betrayed her at that point and the devs confirmed the fact that she drops u bc shes upset u took away her source of comfort i forgot what they said but it was around the lines of "when taking away somebodies source of comfort they may be displeased" (on twitter)

I believe itâs because Six knew Mono was the Thin Man and she might of thought that letting him fall was the best option to prevent it from happening, ergo, believing she thought she broke the time loop, but she fucked up.

this is a good point, however i think six had several reasons to drop mono, this one included. another reason i think she did it is because she recognized that mono was the thin man from looking at his actual face for the first time. in her perspective, not only did mono let her get captured and turned into a monster by the thin man, but he also WAS the person that captured her. she believed mono had betrayed her first, therefore dropping him.

My theory is that the whole story of LN 1 & 2 take place in the mind of Six and Mono respectively. Theyâre memories distorted by the fear and trauma of the past. The tall man represented the network executives of a local (albeit powerful) tv station that controlled everyone. They want Six for whatever programming and gave her her own theme song (the so g that plays in the background). Mono tried to prevent that and she was already a âmonsterâ. Thus, in exchange for her programming, she sold Mono out to them. Then Six would later become what we know as the Geisha. And LN 2 are the memories of the horrible events (according to Mono) that lead to this.

I still couldn't accept the fact that Six dropped Mono. đ I really wished they could've escaped together in the outside world. But there was also a theory that the reason why Six dropped him in the end is because She doesn't want to involuntarily eat her(due to her hunger)

It makes me happy to see that even after 3 and a half years of when Little Nightmares 2 came out, people are still actively making theories about it.
And even after 3 and a half years, we still do not know why Six did it and we most likely never will.
Sad? Yes, but let's be honest, if we did know why she did it there would be no theories and sometimes i just prefer it that way.
That's what i love about Little Nightmares so much, there are a million questions, yet so little answers that uncover the truth.
