Seriously i had no idea there relationship was that deep until i read some comments about it and in the show daemonās hurt expression after her death seemed out of place because there was no proper build up it pretty much felt like he was like oof finally i can marry my niece! š

I wouldnāt say they made it seem like that they just took out ALOT of how he was with her they had their moments and, he visibly looked heart broken when she died not to mention he didnāt want them to just get the baby out he wanted to save them both. I will say I wish they added in him literally flying off to find somebody who could actually help her.

There were little ways where you could see how much he cared for her but a lot of people missed it because the writers donāt trust the audience and chose to put him in a poor state in the few scenes they had together.
