Love this anime. I got interested because I'm an insomniac myself. There's no unnecessary high school drama. Just two kids bonding over shared disorder and discovering things to do at night, and in the process actually getting some sleep.

Oh fuck I picked that up in the library a while back didn't know it had an anime. Manga Looked relatively new, art is beautiful with lots of blank space making it look modern. Thought the story was rather cheesy but it's a good casual read. Check it out!

I need to watch this! Man, my insomnia in highschool was wild. I was getting 4-5h of sleep on a GOOD night, by Friday my brain was cooked. I spent most of the weekend sleeping in (once I convinced my parents to stop forcing me to get up early for church on Sundays. I NEEDED that shut eye 😩) I'm talking 12+ hours of sleep on Saturdays and in later years on Sundays as well. Because during the school week there was NO chance I'd be able to fall asleep before 3am and the school bus came by a bit after 8am. There were many nights that I didn't sleep at all, and I often felt like I was dreaming when I was awake because derealization made things feel weird and distant. I think the longest I went without being able to sleep was 40-some hours. I was on the verge of psychosis after 35h, I swear. I kept thinking I was hearing someone say my name while I was listening to music and would pause it or take out an earbud and it was just faint background noises like a water tap running. I so strongly do NOT recommend sleep deprivation. I barely remember most of my childhood and teens, partly because of trauma but mostly because sleep deprivation wrecks your memor
