They formed in Hannover, Germany in 1970, as of this year they have been together (a few lineup changes) 54 years. I saw them first in 86 at Monsters Of Rock in Nuremberg, Germany, then in Sacramento Ca in the early 2000’s and again around 2011/12.. can’t remember the date.
Love the band, they are a huge part of the soundtrack of my youth.
I think they’re going to retire in 2025 or the end of 2024, I bet they will make it 55 years and bid farewell.
They have rocked many nations and all of us have a Scorpions song that reminds us of a time or event in our lives, we are taken right back to that memory every time you hear the song.
