A statistician would say 2. A mathematician would say 0.

Totally agree with you! Sometimes I say to mayself "let's decide with a flip of coin" ... then proceed to DECIDE and do what I want

I’ve been using that flipism method for month before seeing this and it has been extremely helpful for small yet difficult decisions.

This short started out fascinating, and ended with removing my mental blocks

I genuinely do this when trying to make decisions and my reactions are very illuminating as to my true desires. Honestly I would recommend it.

1:16 this actually helps me make decisions on what i’d rather do a lot. when the coin is in the air and it’s all up to chance, you become aware of what you really want.

Heyyyy! I've been living by flipism and listening to the coin and it helps me do a lot of things and find out what I really want at that moment

i genuinely live by the philosophy of flipping a coin to uncover how i truly feel about a thing. or generating a list of options, and asking someone else to pick for me. over time, i especially with the list, i've noticed how (given a list of 5 options, which is my most common one) i'll start to place the option i want most in position #4 because that is, by my observation, the number that is most commonly picked.

sometimes though, with coins or RNG, i will truly feel indifferent about the different options. so, i follow the coin. it's great! 😌

The "flip a coin just to see your reaction" thing genuinely helped me a lot. Thank you Michael

Michael Vsauce is trying to turn impressionable young kids into Batman villains. That’s my goat

I just realized that Two-Face is a flipist because I now know that's a word because of you Vsauce.

This is genuinely good advice. There have been numerous times where I've been stuck on what I want, be it what to drink, eat, or what game to play, and have simply flipped a coin. Whether you really are impartial to the coin flip or not, the problem is still resolved

Piet Hein actually wrote a poem called "A Psychological Tip" about flipping a coin to help decide things. Ever since i read that poem I use the trick to get past mental blocks.

Instructions unclear: I've become a dangerous criminal who's only moral compass is determined by a coin flip.

Actually spot on. You don't do whatever the coin says. You do whatever is based on your reaction to the coin. Exactly right
