That's not a oil leak, that's a self lubricating chassis

A lot of times you can just look up and when you find the clean spot that's normally where the oil is coming from

"Where's the oil leak coming from?" "Well it's an 04' 6.0 so I guess everywhere"

Start high (because of gravity) then go forward until no evidence of oil (because air flow), then start looking for culprits.

My 06 F150 always had an oil leak to the point i had my own parking spot at work, and no one used it because it was MY spot. Anyway, one day I got home and my engine was... uh... noisy. So i checked my oil level, as i do every day, and it was empty. Completely and totally dry empty.

The housing for the oil filter and some water lines blew the gasket and it just dumped all the oil. Replaced the gasket and it hasnt leaked a drop in over a year. Oh, and the engine is still 100% fine.
