And it puts the onus on the one initiating. For so many SA trials, the preparator typically tries to say, "They didn't say no," so obviously they must have "wanted it" and it can't be grape.
By focusing on consent, it means that "didn't say no" doesn't work. It doesn't matter that they didn't say no.
They didn't say yes.
They're covering their own butts.
