Good information! I worked for medical facility making providers electronic form. (A computer programmer) Before you even see the doctor you probably already have 3 or 4 diagnoses applied to your medical record. The medicare advantage plans pays more for more diagnosis. So they weigh you. If over weight boom add diagnosis, blood pressure high boom add diagnosis. If you have diabetes boom add diagnosis and you are only seeing the doctor because you have a cold boom add diagnosis. This drains our medicare money we all payed our entire life. Listen to this woman and call abt insurance. They saved me money.

In my state, a small state, a huge hospital and all services connected with that hospital, dropped HUMANA. People were panicking trying to find a comparable plan. People undergoing cancer treatments had to now worry about getting a new plan to continue treatment next year. 🥺☹️😔

A simple way to explain MAPD plans are simply to say they are structured like your employer insurance was.. you have in network doctors and places. People are familiar with employer insurances.

Please note: the reason all those Medicare advantage plans go after you to change insurance is because they get a financial kick back for every one they sign up!

Didn’t two hospitals cancel their Advantage contracts, because the Advantage Plans were denying too many claims causing the hospitals resubmit claims too often?
