Today Junie who is a medical animal, she's on anti fungal medication, had one of her known episodes and was having trouble walking. She was placed inside of the temporary setup for observation. When she recovers, or rather if she does since she's 2 years old, she would be placed back inside of her 40 gallon breeder tank. It's ideal to make sure they have a space they can easily access food and water, so they don't have to struggle to walk far.

I use tiny tail enclosures for hospital cages but now I'm going to use 10 gallon things just like you mentioned thank you so much for letting me know

Maybe consicer taping a cardbord plap in front of the hidey house? that way you can still observe her when you need to, but she has more security and can rest better. I wish her and you all the best!

Since 4 quarts makes a gallon, would a 38 quart bin/9.5 gallons with the similar dimensions of a 10 gallon tank be sufficient for a medical bin? Its nearly the same size as these pet stores toy cages. I use this bin as my travel bin for the trip to the vet...
