Yup yup...Nesi (Pharaoh) Neter-Nub-Sekhem Asar-Ab Ra-Khaf (Khafre). KHAFRE WITH A "NOSE JOB" - NOSE ALTERED (EPOXY STONE COMPOSITE - ZOOM IN 150-200%) - 'Glowing' statue of Nesi (Pharaoh) Asar-ib Asar-em Ra-Khaf (Userib Userem Khafre), is the best-known Anorthosite Gneiss sculpture. The stone came from a distant Kushite quarry, it is hard to work and only moderately attractive. However, it has a rare optical property—it glows in the sunlight. Its deep blue glow is caused by the presence of the iridescent mineral Bytownite. 4th Dynasty, Old Kingdom.
The 'new nose' does not glow in the sunlight.

I always felt that statue does not seem to blend in with other Kemetic statues. The nose of a European or Arab on the face of an African, thank you for informing me. My instinct was right!!

I keep getting wowed by the treachery in which they deal regarding Ancient Kemet. I never saw that detail; or I may have seen it and didn’t suspect anything. Yet I have always viewed that artifact with a bit of skepticism concerning why it looked so different from his other portraits. I wrote a satirical skit briefly portraying a curator overseeing restoration artists doing something very similar to a Rameses statue. Now I’m being shown actual evidence that it’s not just an unsupported theory, or some “wild Afrocentric claim.” It appears now there’s actually substantial proof supporting such an argument.

“Egyptology” is a science alright! …a full-on experiment on how to be treacherous…, how to deceive people as they’re watching you do what you do with all the lights on.

Judging by other visible cracks it looks like they may have broken the face deliberately just to give themselves an excuse to restore it the way that they did.

The lengths they will go to present a criminally dishonest history of the past…, and then force-feed it to the entire world for consumption. I guess they didn’t anticipate their efforts would backfire on them in the form of keen Black scholars spotlighting and exposing all the methods they employed to do harm to Black people’s historical reputation, while deceiving the masses.

You are correct they carve them from one rock but..... Many times a statue would tumble from a earthquake and or someone who did not like the ruler. It is very common to see smashed noses. On top of that if the statue was damaged by someone on purpose they would fix the statue to the best their abilities, causing some inconsistencies.
