I was inspired by my almost daily Zoom chats she has been enjoying with my grandpa over the past year, something which has become more poignant as time goes on.
'I wrote it from the perspective of talking to him so it has an intimate, comforting feel to it and the message of the song it is to check in with friends and family on a regular basis even if they seem ok as you never know when someone may be struggling, just need a chat or to feel connected with other people.
