The ONLY issue with barricading your radio is that if an enemy engineer finds it, they will dig down the barricade and dig it back up behind them to make sure the radio bleeds out. Leave room for some 'nades or bullets to make its way through

I’ve done this directly on a flag and ever if we lose the flag the enemy never finds the radio. But friendly armor squads sometimes get so mad they can’t reach the repair station.

Engineer main here, nice trick but I’ve learned to spot out-of-place repair stations to know where enemy radios are.
Me: “Hang on, what’s a repair station doing inside of a compound that a vehicle can’t access?”.
