This is not surprising to me. I don't like that ALL processed foods are getting bashed lately. I think about how certain PF and UPFs have revolutionized our civilizations and nearly eliminated most common deficiencies. Good examples are fortified grains and manmade baby formula. I think it's important to see nuance on this issue, I don't like the black & white view so many are taking now. Thank you for the video.

That is shocking to me.. to consider meat as a whole food is unbelievable, as it is essentially ultra-processed food (by the animals themselves), since it has nearly all the characteristics of processed foods.

Simple calories in vs calories out for weight management. Overall health is a different story, but if you consume less than you burn you lose weight. This is assuming you are a normal functioning person who doesn't have an underlying condition or taking medication.

Do you have any info on leaky gut, brain fog and alot of pain, and muscle pain being vegan for 8 years?
I take b12 daily at 1000mcg aswell as omega three algae 500mg and choline. Help!. You are gertb

First time I ever agreed with you……until you said processed plant based foods are better than meat. That is simply not true. Nothing processed will beat a whole food ever. There are also more nutrients, vitamins and complete proteins in meat that your plant foods do not have. Meat eaters that do not eat a bunch of carbs/sugars or processed meats, tend to have better blood markers than many vegans. I have family from India that are heart doctors that are seeing lower cholesterol in plant based patients but are seeing inflammation from oxalates in plants, and still seeing heart disease. People who eat eggs, chicken, fish and meat without all the starchy carbs and processed foods are rarely overweight. They do not have insulin resistance and inflammation. They clear brain fog as well. Time to stop demonizing meat. Most Americans eat an ultra processed diet which is why America has the highest rates of diabetes, cancer and heart disease than ever before. Time to leave the meat alone and tackle the real culprit. You Doc know what that is. Help people….stop confusing them with these silly arguments.
