Miriam’s credits include her magical performance as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter film series, her unforgettable portrayal of Nurse in Romeo + Juliet and her BAFTA-winning take on Mrs Mingott in The Age of Innocence, as well as many of her iconic stage performances and documentaries.

Miriam is interviewed by novelist, critic and co-director of Books By The Beach, the Scarborough book festival Peter Guttridge.
