Was digging a post hole and found a very ornate, beautiful small plate on top of an upright piece of stove pipe...got enthused...dig a hole 10 ft by 10 ft, 6 ft deep...looking...not finding😢

My Great Grandfather buried money in several spots of his backyard and big amounts of money. He had a stroke and couldn’t remember where had buried everything.

My great grandaddy buried jars of money all over his land. He didn’t trust the bank. But he had a great memory & knew exactly how many were buried & the location of each. He did show my uncle as a kid & would get him to show him where they were at least once a month. As he started digging them up as needed he’d tell my uncle. A lot of older people did this in the south.
