Pushpagiri is a small hill about 5 kms from Halebid (Karnataka). There is a very old Shiva temple (Bhairav Temple) on the top of the hill. A lot of people visit there on every day. This Shiva temple is considered to be very sacred. There is also a recently built Shiva statue at the back side of the temple. The statue is built on top of the library building. You can climb upto the statue through steps.

Halebid is about 17 kms from Belur, 27 kms from Hassan and 215 kms from Bangalore. The main attraction of Halebid is Hoyasaleswar temple. But apart from Hoyasaleswar temple there are other interesting places like Kedareswar temple, Shantinath Basadi and Pushpagiri etc. If you are visiting Halebid, don’t forget to visit these interesting places
