Been food service for 31 years. I LOVE all the customers. So does everyone except top tier management and the servers(who actually LOVE you too). We all dream of the day when people will nut-up or shut-up about replacing us with robots. Food service as a job is soul-crushing.

I will just say from personal experience from working in multiple restaurants, this is spot on and I won’t really eat out anymore as a result of what I’ve learned from being a cook for a few restaurants.
