"Any number" for Divine Resilience also means you can NOT protect the creatures you DO want wiped.
Your opponent goes for the wipe, knowing that some of your creatures will trigger on death, thinking they've given YOU a dilemma by making you choose to save all or none of your creatures.
Then you kick Divine Resilience, and only save the creatures you want saved.

I was so excited for boltwave when it got spoiled. Had just started indoraptor and then wotc just gives me a 1 mana sorcery that makes my 3/1 a 12/10

Bulk Up will also be insane for a Vadrik deck, since you can easily cast the pump spell again for it's flashback cost reduced by Vadrik's power.

Bolt wave would also go hard in an axonil deck where you buff his power up like crazy, turning it from 3 damage to each opponent to whatever axonil’s power is.
I have a deck with axonil where his average power is 8-10 on about turn 4. So this could be a game ending card with the right set up

Oh divine resilience also triggers targeted effects like heroic sense its not each creature you control its any number of target creatures
