Ugh the sadness from below. Whenever I stared at a shop years back I always wondered why the master mechanic would start a vehicle after an engine swap and just lean over the engine bay and light a cigarette. Over the years I learned to be patient, triple check my work and make sure there were no leaks.

I just fixed that leak on my FD. Mine wasn’t nearly that bad though. Haha
It’s a pain, but it might be easier to reseal the pan without pulling the engine. It’s pretty easy to get to once you drop the subframe a few inches.

1. Change the o rings from oil filter
2. Change the rear main seal
3. Reseal the oil pan

Same thing happened to me after my Rebuild, leaky engine mount bolts from installing them after the pan was sealed. It was the thing that killed rotaries for me after all the bull I already dealt with. My second FD now has a LS2.
