Give examples of codependency before affair and mine after his 2x emotional affair. Im fearful mixed with dismissive avoidant and my husband is anxious preoccupied. 13 years of marriage im realizing how unstable ive been and clearly seeing it now. Am i codependent? Is he? And now we are trying to heal from this affair i dont want to be clingy for the sake if mending the relationship. I feel like only he can alleviate my anxiety and fear even though he is the cause of it.

He says my boundaries are controlling. He was a sex addict for the entire marriage, and i didnt know. 29 yrs.
I do enforce boundaries, im told im co dependent. I dont know what to do. His infidelities were with multiple street workers.
13 yrs ago for 10 yrs. I just found out in jan. He went to rehab for it for 10 mo. But he hasnt gotten much help with the root cause. Emdr for addiction and childhood trauma.
He wont leave, he wants to make it work. Im suffering every day. Im not happy.
I feel his existence makes me feel like he's holding me back from everything.
Im hurting bad, mad sad, angry. I want him to suffer for what hes done. I know this comment is all over the place. Im sorry.
We dont get along, hes also been told by multiple therapists hes developmentally immature. The communication is poor. Its hard to talk to him. One min to the next you never know how he'll be. I have to watch what i say. If hes done something that hurt me, he gets angry, as if its my fault.
He has no empathy. Never shows empathy nor sympathy for ehat hes done.
