Save for your visit to the China Pavilion 🇨🇳 Part 13 of our adventures at the Osaka World Expo 2025! 🇯🇵

The China Pavilion was one of the coolest looking buildings from the outside, with its winding bamboo calligraphy scrolls from ceiling to floor but the inside was even better! 🎍📜

It felt like a museum of the past, present, and future of China. When we were there, they were highlighting Hainan, so there were live dancers and craftspeople demonstrating ancient weaving techniques which uses their entire body as a loom, instruments you play with your nose 🪈💃

The upper floor had a movie about how the ancient people categorize the times of day and how that applies to modern Chinese society as well as walkways with raised wooden panels showing the friendship between Japan and China 🇨🇳🤝🇯🇵

Our favorite futuristic parts would have to be the friendly robot waving to us from the outside, conversing with an AI Sun Wu Kong (the famous Monkey King), and seeing real samples of the moon 🐒🌙

Oh and don't forget about the cute pandas too! 🐼 (No pandas were harmed during filming 😂)

📍Located on the East Gate side towards the center of the World Expo
Walk-in available. Recommend going in the morning. We went at 10 AM and there was no line. The line can be over 1-2 hours later in the day
