It wasn't the stairs creaking, those were her joints.

Yuy has that I need to take this one home energy. Protect her. But still make her go outside every now and then. Camping is cool. Hiking is not.

yknow working out doesn't make you super strong, ever, at any point, but that's only when comparing someone who works out to the average somewhat active person, to the rest of us homebodies it might as well give you super powers compared to how you end up when you just stay at home sitting or laying down all day. get rid of the brain fog, the random soreness, the constant slight to severe sickness, the ever increasing health issues, and the inability to defend yourself from a fall onto a padded floor, start working out. I'm serious by the way, your muscles when you're inactive and avoid working out can take upwards of 2 weeks to fully heal from exerting themselves to the limit, but if you work out even just somewhat casually that same soreness tends to go away either over the course of a day or a good nights sleep, and it's far more difficult to get sore from something dumb like laying on one side for too long or just walking/standing for 20 minutes when you work out a bit. it might seem like working out is an unnecessary and unhelpful activity to lazy or inactive people, but trust me, it opens up a whole new world of worry free comfort. the difficult part is starting out, when you first start working out it'll take a while for your body to kick into gear and start healing itself fast enough that you aren't always sore, or to endure pushing itself to its limit so that you aren't unable to move for a week straight afterwards, and are instead just slightly weak for a few hours, but after you get through that starting period you'll be less sore on average than you were before you started, and you'll have control over when that soreness happens and actually feel good in general, or at least not bad. your life tends to suck without some form of physical activity like working out, so think of it like brushing your teeth, maintaining your health and personal strength instead of an end goal to become shredded or super hot, though there are plenty of ways to change up how you work out to get the general look you want, but just don't spend too much time working out or thinking about working out each day or you'll burn out or lose the time you need to do other stuff, keep up with it and one day you'll find an old photo of yourself and think "holy crap, who is that?", because the changes will be small, gradual, and unnoticeable as they happen, but when you look back to a few years ago, you won't even look like the same person. this rant/advice isn't specific to anyone, just everyone with the physical ability to workout. make sure to search up proper form for the workouts you're doing if you have lasting soreness or pain in your joints by the way, most people will pick up most of that stuff instinctively but there are still a lot of ways to mess up so if one slips through make sure you catch it. I'd recommend searching up the form for whatever exercise you're doing before you start, but I understand that might be a deal breaker on even getting started for some people, so you don't have to. anyways that's the end of my rant.
