He is right. It's always been that the media has had an agenda, and pursued that. He is also right that it has gotten worse in recent history. I don't like, however, mixing the terms media and business. Yes, the media was once profit seeking enterprises. Not so any more. Media owners now use their profits from other business activities to support their money losing media activities.

For a corporate media, their business model is very lacking!!! You would think they would focus at least a little bit on credibility and viewership to keep the bills paid, as opposed to relying on corporate sponsorships and donations.
