Stacking rocks on top of each other is the simplest form of building.

There's a simple, very logical answer for why tools and architecture all tend to look similar even across entirely different cultures that had no way of contacting each other: Physics.

Why do so many cultures make pyramids? Because stacking rocks in a triangle is the easiest and strongest way to make a tall building.

Why do axes look the same? Because that's the most effective shape for an axe to be.

Why do arrowheads look the same? Because that's the most effective shape for an arrowhead.

It's all because of physics.

If there's only one or two really good solutions for a common problem, it's only natural that many different people will independently think of one of those solutions.

So itā€™s Rupert Sheldrakeā€™s morphic resonance/collective unconscious idea in practice.

Interestingā€¦

There is the possibility the pyramids were built about the same time, or that the same groups visited the sites about the same time and maybe made some modifications.

As a child I played in the sand every time my buildings fails, it looks like a pyramid! So the Pyramide is simply the most stable left over shape! If you build something into a pyramids it will stay basically for ever BTW, like lot of mountains ā›°ļø too, to get the impression that we took from the nature all the time ... pleas spread this idea šŸ’”

To me it seems people migrated not all but some of the population over and over again. Why I think this is because of etymology a lot of these languages back then are very similar have roots in each civilization

There's some human studies that have been peer reviewed.
Something about reading a trick picture in a picture kind of thing.

I don't know, man... when the youngest known pyramid in Egypt is at least 5 centuries older than the oldest known pyramid in Mesoamerica, saying that they appeared basically at the same time in the record is a bit of a stretch

Nah. There was contact and knowledge was shared. Then there was a collapse. A couple generations later no one remembered.

All these civilizations had one thing in common: Egotistic leaders. What do ego maniacs love? Big monuments. Easiest one to build without much sophistication: a pyramid. Mic drop.

step one: take some dirt/sand
step two: pour it into a pile
step three: observe the formed structure
step four: repeat with stones

1st time hearing about this. Sounds too illogical to be true, but hey, many people thought the same when Trump said he's running for the Oval Office. Gonna look it up. Thanks Dan.
