1. You can use acrylic paint cut with fabric softener, I suggest using chalk to sketch you design first so you can make adjustments before making things permanent. Also, put cardboard or some kind of barrier in the legs so it doesn't bleed.
2. I (personally) would probably paint like a dog at the cuff of one leg and a bird by the pocket of the other, maybe have it perching in some branches with like bloody string draped over said branches(?) As for the other pair, maybe something Brother inspired?
3. The jeans look a little long in the legs so I'd definitely cuff or roll them to a more manageable hight, maybe get a more figure hugging shirt or go the opposite route and get an oversized top

I’d say wide legged jeans work in a few different ways depending what you want, if you want some contrast, I think of that one tweet or Tumblr post or whatever of “are you a little pants big shirt gay, or a little shirt big pants gay” and I feel like that rule applies depending on what sort style your looking for,
because I feel like silhouette very heavily influences style, like if you wanna go like a modern cozy vibe I’d say little shirt and for a layer a cardigan, but if your looking more for an alt aesthetic (which may be a vibe you wanna go for if you do my love is sick cuz skeletons are very popular in some big shirt big pants styles I’ve seen) so I hope that helps, I’m not great with my own fashion sense mostly because I’m lazy, but I like character design and I’m on Pinterest a whole bunch so that could have influenced some of my advice

I've done spray paint on t-shirts and that's worked pretty well (though I've never tried denim).
Sunsets are easy. You spray the middle yellow then use something round to cover part of it. Then spray red, particularly around the circle. Then we used blue towards the outside for sky and water.
It stayed way better than I thought it would, but it did fade a bit overtime. I still think it's fine for scenery stuff, but you'd probably want real fabric paint if you were to stencil a silhouette of a dog and bird.
Have fun and good luck styling!

Personally I love the style of crawling vines or roots; if you’re planning on something like that it could work with a lot of songs (my love is sick it could be trails of rot or brother it could be streaks of blue fire). For Dogbird you could try birds near the top and maybe dark silhouettes towards the bottom?
However you do it I’m sure it’ll look great! Can’t wait to hear what they’re for!

I can help with styling somewhat! If you wear a more fitted top, I suggest tucking it in with a belt. Or, pair an oversized top with it and accessorize with necklaces and jewelry. Chunky shoes would look good with yours since they look long on you. A chunky shoe would allow it to be seen despite the extra fabric.
A lot of styling is very dependent on balence and silhouette. And its very personal to your body type and vibe. So play around with it!
I hope some of that helped. I love dogbird and my love is sick so much atm (and Brother) and I hope your tour goes so well!!

You could try going maxiamlist on the pants, like add as many patterns as you can. Make a bunch of little patches of colors focussed on the outside of the thighs and knees, kinda petering out on the other areas. They can be all in a similar color family, like grey-green for my love is sick or red-y orange for sunset on summerville or smth. For painting materials id say use fabric or leather paint. Try making your shirt as baggy as your pants to match the sillouetre, or just accept you dont like wide legegd pants like i did lmao

My suggestion: Stone wash the jeans, using a black and golden edge around the new white patches mimic Wine and Wheat's video or if you were feeling really ambitious, you could always try to marble dye the clothing and use golden highlights afterwards to make it look like the statues from the Ambrosia Wine video. Following that, in either case, drawing vines going up the legs and sticking roses at the ankle, knee, and pockets of the jeans. You could even have the thorns dripping blood the further up you get.
