Because the clubs that are lettung in members do not vet the members and the ones they vet have watched SOA and believe thats how it is.

Nobody's perfect. I do respect them and their history. Different things were happening in different times, of the past. Different chances and choices. In life, everybody had a past. Some good, some not so good. Some were triumphant and some were trials and tribulations. All through experience. We're all human. We all learn as we go.

I came close to rolling with a club. I was a prospect. I work a 60 hour a week job and I have friends. When it was put to me I couldn't ride with my friends anymore. I would have to file a trip plan with the club to ride out of our area.... a day trip for me is 500 miles so I leave that area every weekend. Know what, I cut that prospect patch off almost too eagerly. Ever since I've been at odds with that group. So let me give you young guys some advice.... if you have no friends or family and your job isn't a big priority.... go for it. Every one else would probably be better off finding a Facebook riding group that meets up every Saturday for a destination ride without any group affiliation. Just an independent group.

Motorcycle clubs have devolved over the years, only because the younger members that are replacing the older members by attrition, don’t seem to have the gravitas of the previous generations! but when I go to a motorcycle rally on my bike, I feel like I’m surrounded by the last real men in this country! The Democrats are pacifying males in this country and maybe that’s by design, but I will stay in my oasis of manhood as long as I draw breath! When Democrats come for us, we will be like the defenders of the Alamo!
