Because there were several wires coming out of my motor, I ran a few tests to determine which wires would be the best outputs, but as a general rule, I would assume it's mostly likely to be the thickest wires, as they are designed to handle the most current.

Any ideas on how to regulate those? I built a generator out of one, but my boost converter won't run it properly. Puts out 32v of DC (ish) power from the 3 phase rectifier.

I always thought that all electric motors were also electric generatorsā¦ you either use rotational motion to produce electricity, or you use electricity to produce rotational motion.
