Electric Bike Motors Converted To Generator.

In this video, I demonstrate how burnt out electric bike motors, may still be salvageable, and turned into homemade electricity.. I don't know the power output limits from these motors, but considering they are build to handle high currents as motors, I'd guess most of them can produce a few hundred watts without burning out the motor windings, and they don't require high RPMs to produce useable electricity to charge batteries, or power many other devices.
Because there were several wires coming out of my motor, I ran a few tests to determine which wires would be the best outputs, but as a general rule, I would assume it's mostly likely to be the thickest wires, as they are designed to handle the most current.

Any ideas on how to regulate those? I built a generator out of one, but my boost converter won't run it properly. Puts out 32v of DC (ish) power from the 3 phase rectifier.

I was thinking about using the small one to make wind turbine. what do you think is it worth it.

If one had an old motor how would they create a generator out of it?

I always thought that all electric motors were also electric generatorsā€¦ you either use rotational motion to produce electricity, or you use electricity to produce rotational motion.

Guys thatā€™s why you donā€™t want to spin your PC/GPU fans because it can possibly damage your hardware.
