Crystal sheets and bend them and stand behind it and you're gone. It's bending light on the surface of the material to reflect an image of the surroundings and then it blends so you can't see what's behind. The refraction of light within the material is tiny cracks creating a bazillion tiny mirrors bending the light and concealing the object behind with the tiny mirrors of the cracks within the material. .
