Xehanort was never meant to be evil. He lost his friends in a war he never wanted and chose darkness to control it in order to cleanse the worlds with kingdom hearts. A tragedy 🎭 thats like a revolving door for him . Sora was a unique individual who rushed head on into darkness and didn’t care about what happened to himself. Fearless or just ignorant. The thing I’m bothered by is Luxu still has his yellow eye which would mean he still carries a piece of Xehanort inside him even after he supposedly had that part “purged” after fighting Sora. So yeah Xehanort is coming back some shape or form in the future 🙄 maybe as like a force ghost or something to teach Sora, as my theory would be he was training Sora this whole time to fight MoM

Also I theorize that the darkness in Xehanort entering Terra's body allowed that darkness to exist as themselves much like vanitas but it took time for their memories to recover because they returned to what would have been their original body in the original time line (but with Xehanort there too) earlier than MoM would have wanted so he (Darkness) tried to hunted him down not knowing about the reincarnation

That's the thing tho. Yen Sid surmised that he must have been aware of Unreality for a significant time. And something mentioned in the Ansem Report 12 might hold a foreshadowing (only time will tell if it was really a foreshadowing). In this report, Xehanort talked about a Darkness that is out of this world and details should be written in a separate report. That "darkness" could be the one from Unreality that he's found out during his researches. One of the reasons Ansem looked for Kingdom Hearts by using the door to Darkness was to reach the darkness that was out of this world. 20 years later and KH1 still has relevant foreshadowings even up to this day it's crazy.
