Day late and a dollar short for me🤦♂️. I to have a 2010 ej on the stand now waiting for head gaskets. I tried to balance my pan under the engine and when I rotated the engine and the residual coolant spilled out along with oil. You guessed it, tip over mess!! I’ll be searching rummage sales for a plastic milk crate! Thanks for the idea!!!🎉

You know they make an oil catch pan designed especially for that engine stand check summit racing.

Made one from a piece of plywood, some 2x2 and a SS cookie sheet. put some 1x2 around the edges to hold it in place,

Home Depot also has one, moves with the stand, bonus.

What I use is a cement mixing tub ( new) from home depot, and since it has rectangular shape no needfor rack box

I would drain the oil when in the car.
But the most annoying thing about the HF engine stand is that it does not fit in between their Engine Hoist.
