Why do Dark Souls 3 speedrunners cast the sorcery, spook, at random times during the run? Why do they throw a throwing knife. What exactly is going on here? They are actually duplicating items or doing things that you wouldnt otherwise be able to do. The glitch is called tumblebuff and it is very useful in the all bosses speedrun category of the game.

you can also do this glitch on patch 1.08. its a bit different. you cast a miracle and drink your estus and it has the same kind of interaction.
