"Just moved in 4 months ago and our neighbor, keeps harassing us about the fence we're building. He claims that enclosing our yard will lower the value of his property. We did a zoning compliance review for a 4ft extension and are considering an exception permit for 5ft. I live on a t-junction and there is very little privacy and cars always speeding, so we decided to build a fence and gate. Additionally, I have two German shepherds that are escape artists, and I care very much about keeping them secure and off any "lost dogs" posts. Contrary to what he's saying, they are actually indoor dogs and are rarely left alone in the yard. Would appreciate any advice from those of you who have been here longer. Thanks!"
