No, still vote for the best President. Vote up and down the ballot, including the President. Imagine trump going back to the White House. You will never vote in another election after 2024 if trump goes back in November

It counts but not in the way it counts in local and state elections.
The electoral college was wrote into the constitution for 1 reason which happens to be an excellent reason!
Almost all Major Cities in America are democratic run and several have a population higher that the rest of the state or very close to it.
What's good for city folks is not good for rural folks most times. It keeps things balanced across America and will not allow a few big cities choose what's best for all of us.
Now, the individual electors are not legally required to vote the way of the people. They can vote however they want but as of yet not one elector has voted against what the people voted for.
Your vote counts as far as whatever side you vote in whatever state you vote which helps decide which way the state elector votes so yes it does count just not like most think it should.
The electoral college was actually an ingenious forethought by our founding fathers...
