But this is exactly why he shouldn't be in jail. He needs mental health services, but we will sentence him, and he'll go into a prison system that has literally minimal help for mental health patients. It's very sad. This man needs real help and not jail time.

Wouldnât think the judge that was assaulted should be the one to hand out the sentence. I have no authority/background in such matter but seems like that would be common sense.
