Exactly! Recently I was prioritizing wants/needs to buy and wrote out all the things I’d own tomorrow if money was no object. It was a great exercise to look at the list and think about life being about more than endlessly racing to check off owning a bunch of things.

Very interesting - and true - observation. I get frustrated it’s taken so long to curate my wardrobe, but I’m getting there slowly but surely and it feels good! I love seeing my closet half empty, knowing I’m wearing the things that reflect the real me, not the fantasy me.

“Let’s slow down“. This is one of the hardest things to do even as a person who waits and waits and waits to purchase some thing because I do not have very much money. Even someone like me needs to slow down. And man, that is hard. Love the blue sweater by the way. Amazing on you.
