This is just a little reminder that the girl in this, Celeste is a black Afro- Latina woman, the author herself has said if you are referring to the book or mentioning it, please use black women as reference and if you cannot find any just dont refer to her as a white woman, this was not my words but just what the author put as a little reminder

“Also, I just want to address something really quick, I know most of my readers came from tiktok and recently, a creator posted a video promoting this book, which of course, I’m thankful for, but unfortunately they made Celeste white in the video.

I understand this is just a ‘Wattpad book’ and people probably won’t take this seriously but representation means a lot to me. Let me make it clear that Celeste is a black, Afro- Latina woman. If you are unable to find a picture of a black woman to use, please don’t use a white woman instead, or even better , use a picture without anyone in it. I also wouldn’t want to mislead people either, so please take this into consideration.”
