I try to keep some microwave meals in the freezer for exactly this reason. Not the healthiest but sometimes you just need something quick without having to think. Remember something is better than nothing. A good idea also is when your feeling good, make you fave comfort food, portion and freeze so when you feel aldoen or to stressed or overwhelmed you can just microwave it and have a nutritious meal you love, and be kind to yourself

Here is a tip that i got from my therapist years ago and i've been doing ever since: if you can manage try to cook one nice meal for yourself a week. Doesn't have to be something fancy, maybe a comfort food from your childhood, maybe a simplified version of something you saw on youtube, hell if you are in the mood just do a chocolate pudding.
That one day where i shop, prepare and cook that meal is one day that i do something for myself without feeling guilty about it and most of the time one homemade meal really makes you feel better.
Even if i dont want to eat anything and everything tastes like cardboard, a nice soup is just good for the soul.
If you have any depressed friends you can make a depression cook date out of it.

"Nutrition by Kylie" makes youtube shorts about realistic recipes/ideas. It's by a nutritionist who is ADHD herself (and I believe she also has IBS?).
Her focus is on thinking differently about food, like how to get the ingredients in an edible state without too much hassle, how to prepare a bit ahead when you are having a good day, how to rethink what a meal should look like (for example, breakfast for dinner or vice versa is perfectly fine).
And my favourite: focus on what you can add. For example: only have energy for cereal, toast, or waffles? Instead of feeling guilty about your food choice, think of something you could add to increase nutrition (like fruit, humus, peanut butter, cucumber, anything that seems doable right then).
Like this wonderful and brilliant song teaches: fed is best.
So my question is: collab when? I'd love a nutritional song and dance crossover.
