Case Description:

Bindeshwar Shah hails from Banswara, Rajasthan.

He works as Mixing Boy with R.S.W.M. Limited and earns a monthly salary of Rs. 8750.00.

He is only 5th class passed and does not know to read or write English.

He wanted to deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000.00 for marriage of her daughter in a fixed deposit account with SBI Bank.

However, the bank manager and other bank officers had their own priorities of meeting their insurance sales targets and therefore they did not even think twice before fraudulently issuing an insurance policy in name of Mr. Bindeshwar instead of the desired fixed deposit.

He was issued a traditional insurance policy with annual premium obligations of Rs. 50,000.00 to be deposited for a term of 6 years regularly.
