My average Quick commerce order value would be in range of ₹200-₹250 ,i use it frequently around 4-6/ month.

Quick commerce is amazing. It will definitely be big. Especially the convenience it brings to people who really need it, middle aged adults swamped with responsibility and senior citizens who will find it difficult to go outside whenever needed.
- i was hurrying to meet a friend and while I got ready, i ordered a pack of chocolates for their kid, it came within 5 mins while i was on my way outside the house. Saved me 15 mins time of stopping before i went.
- I'm so thankful for it during my everyday cooking , even after elaborate planning something or the other will be missing in the kitchen for ad hoc meal requests, when there's no one at home to make the run to the grocery store and when there's no time, while I'm chopping the veggies or finishing my breakfast the missing supplies for my cooking have arrived.
We still get stuff from the grocery store weekly or monthly, but even after that for some fresh veggies or urgent needs we use quick commerce often. It's a boon for urgent needs and especially for people juggling with multiple things and having very hectic schedules.

My families monthly grocery bill is probably around 4k - 5k . I belong to the "India 8" I guess, by this standard.

It's nothing to much proud about. A lot of Kirana storesor local businesses are getting affected. Piyush goyal admits that. Just seeing a growth of few companies and ignoring decline of many. Just check out what Wal-Mart did in America and what happened to local businesses over there.

Try putting delivery and convinence charges,
The day you put these charges people will get out of their bed and buy stuff from the nearest grocery store.

Blinkit sucks though, they just leave certain orders hanging. They dont call the customer or msg them. When you get in touch with their customer care they just tell you that there were no delivery guys available so the order is being cancelled and this after you contact them. Nothing happens priactively so you are just waiting for it. This has happened to a lot of people, just coz their volumes are high this is not getting highlighted and they are not even trying to fix it.

Neither kirana is going anywhere nor quick commerce nor modern trade the purpose is different and everybody will and can compete,
You are playing with exp/gratification with time and
a same person might demand both as per convience, omni channel is the next thing.
Good public infrastructure will shift a lot from quick to retail as retail still provides exp and more utilities to subconsciously as you put effot to acquire stuff.

Don't follow these people. Just follow the old ways everyone. Go to the store. Meet new people. Make connections. Make unions. Make your children play with their children in the field out in the open while you talk over tea or coffee about your day with other people. Don't argue. Learn to accept the fact that everybody is different and in their own way and get along with everyone. When you do the above mentioned, these industrialists will be scared as hell.

People are just too lazy to do their weekly or monthly grocery at one go and will do quick deliveries on the whims. Only if they looks at the price difference, they would understand how much they are loosing. I have seen vegetables prices at more than 50% premium to market price.

As long as we have cheap labour. It will work. But Unless they use drones in future, rising labour costs will make things difficult in quick commerce.
