Tusker in Yala Wild Life Sanctuary in Sri Lanka approaches safari jeep with tourists and puts its trunk into the Jeep. It was looking for food indeed. But tourists should know that feeding elephants or any other animal is not in their your best interest. I know it might sound inhumane not to feed a hungry animal, let alone a magnificent elephant. However when these animals get used to easy food, they might start harassing tourists visiting the park and even might consider attacking to get the food they need.
In today's video, we go on our first-ever safari here in Sri Lanka's Yala National Park! We were so excited to see what exotic animals Sri Lanka had, from the infamous Leopard to the majestic Elephant. This was a pure bucket list day spent with other backpackers looking at amazing animals in the wild. Sri Lanka's Yala National Park did not disappoint!
