What about Julie's lack of respect. Baby talking a 6 year old is not respect. You get what you give. She gave no respect to the 6 year old but expected the respect from the 6 year old. Julie treated her like a baby so Katie treated Julie like she was stupid. I would say you get what you give.

Number one why would you talk to a 6 year old like they’re a baby who dos that but two she still should apologize there’s no excuse for being rude honestly i guarantee this is the first mom to complain about a kid being rude and not realizing her kid has the same problem because she didn’t teach her to be a polite kid

Agreed, Katie needs to apologise. It's kind of weird to talk baby talk to any kid who is over 2 or 3 years old, though. Julie is weird, IMO. But it's still not ok for Katie to be rude regardless and manners need to be learned early on.

If the mother is teaching her to be so "mature", I think that should probably extend to being accountable. Sure, I think that baby talk is very off-putting, and I never did that to my kids. But I also taught them manners

Not at all I did not baby talk my kids and told people as much. Children learn as the are taught. The will not read numeys if that is even a word you can spell. So if the mom can spell it then yes she should apologize😊

I really don’t feel like she’s the a hole here I really don’t because I had somebody who was raised like that I know that I would treat my child like that too like I don’t want to baby talk my child I would expect my child to think something like that however I do think that if you’re going to raise your child like that you do need to instill a constant filter always teaching your kid how to filter when they’re around people is some thing that you have to teach them luckily when I was youngerMy uncle Ron taught me that a lot so I thought like that but I never said it so I just feel like she should’ve worked on that however anything else I don’t really feel like she’s the a hole here sorry
