Blessed Day!

Christmas is coming! A time of festivities, a time to share our blessings and a time to give love and extend forgiveness. Above all, the true essence of Christmas is remembering Christ's birth.

Thank you, Ibex, for this wonderful privilege of granting someone a wish. Now, my wish will go to someone very close to my heart, which is my dad.

My dad is a servant of God; he dedicated his life to following and obeying Christ. Once a week, he always travels from Catigbian to Tagbilaran City for almost an hour to share the gospel. With that, it testifies to his hard work and unconditional love for God. My dad's arms are always open to people, his ears are always willing to listen and his heart always shows goodness to others.

This month, the Lord has allowed many trials in his life. My dad is currently fighting a battle with his prostate, Stage 1. Despite these circumstances, he has never lost his faith in the Lord and continues to trust in Him believing that everything will come to pass. For this Christmas season, I wish for my dear Father to have a bountiful feast together with our family. A basket full of groceries will surely put a smile on his face and on his heart. I pray that this simple wish of mine will be granted through the generous heart of IBEX.
