I personally recommend maybe changing the size of the brush and scaling it down from largest to smallest as you do this to keep from overblending. It might seem counter to the hack of doing it in one layer, but imo the benefit of doing it in one layer makes up for the added effort of scaling the brush sizes.
This comes from my experience wth painting though in that if you want to blend for a griadiet without completely blurring everything, you have to choose the right size of brush.

I love James, but nah the one layer technique is goated. What I’ll say is on medium skin tones the colors are still more defined and don’t just blend together.
Also u pose to powder. The highlights, plus do the steps one at a time.

I actually use this all the time i only skip the foundation step i only use powder and it's gives me a flawless skin and it's looks natural! I loove it

Just go in with the powder versions of this after you blend the cream it still wont be heavy!! the point of this is just that theres one layer of cream rather than foundation, concealer, cream contour/blush all on top of each other as thats when it starts looking cakey

Very nice video James! I think is good technique because the save us times wen we didn't have! Me wen i work i wont to make my make up in 10 minutes! I didn't but to much but i make on good base!
