I toured NYC in my first trimester. In the middle of July and even planned a boat tour. The heat, the car sickness,boat sickness (that was almost my undoing) and morning sickness plus the suffocating crowds was just miserable. I really truly feel for poor Mal!

Oh Mal! I feel this so hard.. We had already planned to drive from PA to FL when I had fallen pregnant with our second child. That was rough. My anxiety goes to 11 when I’m pregnant so that sucked, I had crazy nausea, couldn’t stand to eat anything, freaked out over my poor husbands driving, and for whatever reason, couldn’t even sleep… yeah that sucked.

One tip I have got nausea is putting pressure 3 fingers down from your wrist/right where the hand ends on the inside side. That helps me when I’m not feeling well and I think it also helps for pregnancy nausea

I can really appreciate that Mal doesn’t try to mask with exaggerated positivity. I feel like acknowledging when it’s tough makes the moments of joy feel authentic and exciting. That being said, I hope she finds relief where she can throughout this pregnancy and post-partum.
