Ingredients required

1. Urad dal -1 cup
2. Rice flour -4 cups
3. Butter -1 tspn
4. Hot oil-1 tbspn
5. Sesame seeds
6. Salt

Use Same cups for all the measurements

Method

1. Wash urad dal and pressure cook with 1.5 cups water. ( full flame till 1st whistle then completely simmer and cook for another 5 min)
2. Grind the cooked urad dal finely
3. Add rice flour in batches
4. Add sesame seeds, butter,salt and hot oil
5. Mix until everything is well combined
6. Prepare Murukku as shown with Murukku achuu
7. Fry in oil.

Now our Instant Urad dal Murukku is ready

Tips to get crispy Murukku

*fry in low to medium flame for white colour Murukku.
*If your Murukku turns soft add more rice flour( it depends on urad dal and rice flour texture)
*If your Murukku turns hard add little butter.
*close the remaining Murukku batter while preparing
*Donot refrigerate batter and use again as it results in change of colour
